  1. There is a "b" to the left of the first line of this introduction.
  2. The mark after the final glyph is most likely an otiose mark, but it differs enough from the scribe's typical practice regarding otiose marks at the end of terminal "g" to suggest the need for a formal note.
  3. The EETS edition has "boystous," but it seems more likely that it is "boystoris" based on both the shape of the glyphs and the word in BL Additional 29729, which is "boystrus."
  4. The line from "Brys" on appears to be an addition in a different hand, as determined by the shape of "at" in the line when compared with the above and the use of a straight line title as opposed to the primary scribe's use of a curved line.
