  1. The EETS edition as "styth" here, but the shape of the glyphs and comparison to BL Add. 29729 supports "fryth."
  2. The second glyph of this word appears to have originally been an "a" based on the upper portion of the letter form when compared with the "a" glyphs in the prior stanzam, but has been corrected to an "o" after the fact.
  3. The long descender on the "r" in this word appears nowhere else in this witness.
